Another great day of presentations at MIRACON! Day 2 included sessions on “Tailings Dams and the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM)”; “Challenges for Mining Companies in the Current Insurance Market”, and several presentations from our Technical group on use of “Risk Matrix for Risk Improvement”; “Lessons from Loss Data”; “Risk Engineering and Report Writing”; and “Innovation, New Technologies and Emerging Risks” which discussed Automation and future potential of mining of sea beds and outer space – now closer than you could have imagined! Thank you to our many presenters and our sponsors for today’s sessions.
