Following the success of our conferences in London, Toronto, and Vancouver, the MIRA Board is delighted to confirm details of the next global conference to be held in South Africa in February 2026.
The MIRA conference will provide the opportunity for professionals across the mining, risk management, and insurance sectors to meet and discuss the leading issues of our time.  We will hear from industry leaders on a range of diverse subjects providing a platform on which we can collectively collaborate and network.  Attending will be mining company risk and insurance managers, finance directors, C-Suite executives, insurance brokers and underwriters, loss adjusters, forensic accountants and engineers, claims managers, lawyers, risk engineers, and other specialists and professionals from the mining, risk, and insurance industries.  It is anticipated that some 300 people will attend this conference.

SESSIONS

Proposed sessions include Mill & Machinery Integrity, Claims & Lessons Learned, Risk Engineering, Geopolitics, Critical Minerals & Supply Chains, IT/Technology, Climate Change & Sustainability, Captive Management, State of the Market Update, Heap Leach Facilities, etc.
